Life: the fun weird thing that befalls you when you had something else planned.

Today I completed the drive home in a car barely holding together, with half my face caked in blood, all but whistling at this happy sunny day.

The wonders never cease. :D

...

Wait, what?!

How many times do I have to tell you not to gruesomely split your face in two?

... About every time I play Mario in a level with rotating saw blades? :[

I think he was really killing zombies.

Oooooh, good point... zombie-killing is allowed;

Still! We demand details... <Dalek voice>EXPLAIN! EXPLAIIIIIIN!</Dalek voice>

You know you must now share more details!

[identity profile] balinares.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually I intended to make a post with all the details right away, but finally decided that the terse version had much more impact. :D But yes, I'll tell the whole story, of course.

Ye gods! Glad you're OK.

[identity profile] balinares.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes, absolutely, but I just couldn't pass such a great opportunity to turn a small anecdote into greatly misleading post a using only truthful yet selective fact reporting. :D

[identity profile] circuit-four.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Eeek? I want to make all SORTS of tasteless jokes about open-air brains, but not until I'm sure everyone and everything are okay!

[identity profile] balinares.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes, everything is fine. This here is just calculatedly selective reporting, for the entertainment of the masses. :D Initially I intended to tell the whole anecdote right away, but it would have been a shame to miss such a great occasion for the BEST POST TRAILER ever. All it lacks is the deep male voice going "In a world where dragons commute by car..." at the beginning and the twitchy montage of confusing but potentially intriguing scene fragments at the end.

"Something Almost Happened in my Life Today": in a theater near you this week!

Is it like a Predator trailer where bits in the trailer are not actually in the film ! Like, there really was no car, or you were not actually in it. Or did the blow the whole budget on one CGI scene ?

[identity profile] kelfstein.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Post some facts bur not all so people think/fear the worst. >;)

[identity profile] balinares.livejournal.com 2010-07-20 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I actually edited the post to add the big smiley because it was not clear enough nothing serious actually happened. :)
